12. Black Economic Empowerment
Land Bank is committed to transformation, employment equity and Empowerment.
Changes that will result in a company losing or decreasing its BEE composition should be disclosed
to Land Bank when tendering.
Verification of BEE Status
Land Bank reserves the right to verify BEE credentials beyond formal documentation, this verification may consist of site visits and interviews.
Misrepresentation of BEE or any information, which may or may not influence an award of this tender will result in immediate disqualification of the service provider concerned. Should such be discovered after an award has been made, the service provider concerned shall pay to the Bank any additional expense incurred by Land Bank having either to accept any less favourable tender or, to invite fresh tenders.
13. General Rules and Instructions
Land Bank will not be liable for any costs incurred by the tenderer in the preparation of response to this RFP. The response to this RFP will not obligate the Land Bank to select any tenderer’s proposal, or to discuss the reasons why your company’s proposal or any other was accepted or rejected. Documentation and or substantive documentation submitted for this tender will not be returned.
Land Bank may request written clarification or further information regarding any aspect of this Tender. The tenderers must supply the requested information in writing within eight (8) hours after the request has been made, otherwise the tender may be disqualified.
Signed agreements between the tenderer and subcontractors (where applicable) stipulating the work and Rand value to be subcontracted should the tender be awarded should be submitted with the proposals.
