2. Meet the degree requirement.
Although you don’t need a degree to enter the CGA program, you must complete a bachelor’s degree before you can be certified as a CGA. We recommend that you complete your degree before you start the PACE-level courses. Your degree can be from any approved post-secondary degree-granting institution and in any field of study. Equivalent foreign degrees also meet this requirement if they are equivalent to a three- to four-year Canadian degree.
If you enter the CGA program without a degree, we have partnerships with several institutions that enable you to complete your degree online while working towards your CGA designation. Visit us at www.cga-bc.org and search “degree opportunities”.
