Duct Smoke Detectors: Supply Air Handlers greater than 2,000 CFM. Return Air Handlers greater than 15,000 CFM or when AHU serves more than one floor.
Heat Detectors: Copy centers, vending rooms, kitchens High temperature mechanical rooms Sprinkled elevator mechanical rooms (Causing electrical shunt.)(Detectors must be located within 24” of each sprinkler head.) Labs (A variance is required.)
Pull Stations: At all exits to the outside As required by NFPA
Sprinkler Systems Fire pump items: pump running, fire pump power, fire pump phase reversal Jockey pump power Pre-action panels: Not to be used. Water flow switches (by fire zone; separate address for each device.) Tamper switches (by fire zone; separate address for each device.)
Rolling Fire Shutters: Not recommended, but if used must be motorized, with push button to re-open the shutter, and readily accessible.
