TALON AIR PILOTS FIRST IN THE WORLD TO BE CERTIFIED TO FLY NEW HAWKER 4000
FARMINGDALE, NY - Talon Air, the leader in on demand luxury charter and management have announced today that two of their pilots are the first pilots in the world to be certified under FAR Part 135 to fly the Hawker 4000.
Talon Air pilots Jason Sanders and Reiner Seuss completed initial type-ratings in Flight Safety (Wichita, KS.) Talon Air worked closely with Flight Safety International and the Federal Aviation Administration to facilitate the certification of the FAR Part 135 training program for the Hawker 4000.
Talon Air owner Adam Katz, the largest private owner of Raytheon aircraft, explains, “It’s Talon Air’s mission to provide cutting edge service and quality to our passengers. Raytheon’s early certification of two of our pilots once again gives Talon the leg-up on delivering a level of service that nobody else can compete with. No other private aircraft owner or charter service pilot will be certified to fly the new Hawker 4000 until this September.”
Talon Air is expecting delivery of serial number RC-9 in late-October 2007. The aircraft is equipped with the following: composite airframe, integrated avionics and state-of-the-art technology. The Hawker 4000 is a welcomed addition to Talon's rapidly expanding, late-model, diverse fleet of 12 aircraft. Talon's full-time maintenance personnel will be trained extensively by Hawker Beechcraft prior to delivery.
