DATAP R O-45™

5.8. Record Switch doesn't work

First, make sure that you can start recording by holding down the "START" button on the DATAPRO-45™. If this doesn't work, call your dealer for customer support.

Otherwise, short junction box position B12 directly to chassis ground. If this starts recording, then your problem is with your cable or your switch. You can short the record signal to ground at the far end of the cable, next to the switch. If recording starts, then the cable is good and the problem is with the switch. If recording does not start, then the problem is with the cable.
