MICROSOFT EXCHANGE HOSTED SERVICES FOR LAW FIRMS

E-mail management has become a strategic business issue. One of the key business challenges for firms today is managing the knowledge retained within e-mail to grow business and remain competitive in a rapidly changing legal environment. A significant part of this challenge requires efficient and effective e-mail management to provide easy, rapid access to the information required to counsel clients.

SOLUTIONS OVERVIEW

Microsoft® Exchange Hosted Services include solutions for e-mail security, compliance, and continuity to help law firms manage information efficiently and effectively.

Microsoft Exchange Hosted Filtering

Exchange Hosted Filtering applies accurate, multilayered message filtering methods that deliver a unique blend of preventive and protective measures to help stop e-mail–borne threats at the network perimeter. Exchange Hosted Services include a broad range of spam-blocking techniques, virus-scanning capabilities, and policy enforcement tools and disaster recovery features to help companies protect against lost productivity and possible damage to reputation caused by spam, viruses, and e-mail outages.

Microsoft Exchange Hosted Continuity

Exchange Hosted Continuity helps protects access to e-mail—an enterprise’s most critical and valuable communications tool—by helping provide continual access to functionality. The message continuity service is always on, enabling users to read, compose, receive, and reply to messages in real time. The service also retains a rolling 30-day store of messages.

Microsoft Exchange Hosted Encryption

Exchange Hosted Encryption is a service that provides message encryption for e-mail and e-mail attachments leaving the corporate network gateway. The service uses Identity-Based Encryption (IBE), an advanced encryption technology that allows security-enhanced communication with anyone that has an e-mail address, with no certificates and encryption infrastructure to support and maintain.

Microsoft Exchange Hosted Archive

Exchange Hosted Archive helps companies with compliance and legal discovery protection initiatives requiring the retention and retrieval of electronic messaging. The service captures e-mail and IM in real time, archiving and indexing messages for immediate monitoring, search, and retrieval.
