1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition $4,250.00

(as seen at www.970jeeps.com)

Good news... Only 120,500 miles - most highway! 9,000 per year! Engine starts and runs well and strong - very well maintained for vehicle of this age - previous owner was fanatical about using fuel additives to keep all ports and parts clean. Most Interior leather, carpeting and consoles are in good shape and have been well cared for. Body and paint is straight and in very good shape. Has climate control air conditioning. Transmission and 4WD shifts very smoothly. Tinted windows and full size matching spare with cover! Vehicle has "all-wheel-drive", safest on all road conditions. No noticeable rust anywhere... Just drove 2300 miles across the country with no difficulties.

Not such good news... Right rear auto window does not work - but all others do. Rear windshield wiper does not work. Driverside interior door panel has a few holes and a 2" crack and is not mounted very well, but functional. Driver seat is badly torn and covered with a new seat cover. There are 3-4 noticeable cigarette burns in carpet - but nowhere else. There is a quarter-sized star in the windshield. CORRECTION: there is now a crack in the windshield - does not obstruct view, but it's not pretty. CORRECTION: Just spent $175 replacing the windshield. There is a dent in tailgate - but does not effect operation. Front bumper missing left bumper guard - rear bumper missing both bumper guards.

Recent Improvements/Repairs... New rear bushings on rear track bar ($20 parts + $90 labor). New front and rear brake pads ($120 parts and $180 labor). Replaced rear transmission seal ($15 + $90 labor). Replaced broken stud and lug nut on right front wheel $27. Less than 5000 miles on $575 Michelin tires. Front end tow hooks ($95); Battery 01/08 ($67) Replaced headliner fabric ($45 matl's); New windshield ($175) Right front quarter panel ($125); New muffler ($147)

Financing is available... With 50% down, balance can be paid over 6-12 months. $200 document fee, no interest. Buyer pays all title, taxes, insurance and transfer fees. Got less than 50% down - we'll have to discuss. NOTE: Asking price reflects current market value, current condition and currently known defects in vehicle...
