On the RH side of the Address Locator window, note that “the field containing” Street “is recognized if it is named:” Address and “the field containing” Zone “is recognized if it is named:” Zipcode. These settings should enable the “Address” and “Zipcode” columns of the input address table to be matched to the correct FENAME (FEature NAME) as well as the ZIPL and ZIPR columns in the reference table.

Under the Matching Options portion of the window, set the sliders as follows: Spelling sensitivity = 10 Minimum candidate = 10 Minimum match score = 10

Under Output Options, set the side offset to 30 and the units to feet (the point will be placed 30 feet away from the centerline of the street)

Under Output Fields, select X and Y coordinates. The window should look like this:

  • Press OK. The ArcCatalog main window returns, with a new Address Locator added:

  • File > Exit Arc Catalog
