LG CNS was founded in 1987 as a joint venture between LG and EDS Company. Until 2002, LG CNS adopted not only technologies, but also best business practices and know-how from EDS. In 2002, LG CNS ended the partnership with EDS, which made LG CNS a 100 percent LG company. Since then, LG CNS has been providing IT services to global customers, and has been leading the hospital digitalization in Korea with the accumulated knowledge and experience that has been verified through a number of large-scale hospital digitalization projects.

ECO Inc. was founded in 1995 and is a leading provider of RFID Solutions and Library Automation Systems in Korea. Almost all public libraries in Korea (about 300 public libraries) are using ECO’s products. In addition to providing software, ECO developed and provided a series of products to facilitate and utilize a Library Automation System using RFID technology that included a self checkout system, book return station, handheld scanner, desktop reader/writer, and gateway antenna. ECO is currently focusing on developing and providing high-performance RFID systems for logistics, with the goal of becoming a worldwide leading RFID technology provider.

WONJU CHRISTIAN HOSPITAL
Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine, Wonju Christian Hospital was founded in November 1959 by the Board of World Mission of The United Church of Canada, the America Methodist World Mission Board, the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea and the Korean Methodist Church, under the doctrine of “Christian Mission through Medical Service.” When it was founded, the formal name was Wonju Christian Union Hospital, and it had 50 beds. A cooperative agreement with Severance Hospital, Seoul, Korea was in place until March 1976, when Wonju hospital merged with Yonsei University. Since then, the hospital has grown to become the biggest university hospital in central Korea.
