It is a requirement that all Oracle Education delegates register at reception prior to the commencement of each course. Registration will take place a minimum of 15 minutes before a course commences.
Courses commence at 9.30am on Day 1 and at 9.00am on subsequent days. Most courses are expected to finish at 5.00pm.
For the protection of Oracle’s equipment and yours, we regret that no external diskettes or portable PCs may be connected to our network. If you are in any doubt please ask a member of staff.
Travel By Car
From the M3
Exit at Junction 3, follow the signs for Bracknell along the A322. Keep in the left hand lane (as the right hand lane filters off to Ascot/Windsor). Keep going straight on. At the third roundabout (Shell Garage on the left), take the second exit onto A329. At the traffic lights, go straight onto the A329(M) North towards Reading and continue to the very end of the motorway. At the roundabout, turn right into Thames Valley Park. At the next roundabout, take a right, then right again. Oracle Education is situated on the left hand side, building 540.
From the M4
Please note there is a new shopping centre in the centre of Reading called ‘The Oracle’. Please do not follow signs for ‘The Oracle’ as this will take you to the shopping centre.
Exit at Junction 10, follow the A329(M) North (changes to the A3290 at Winnersh triangle) towards Reading until its termination. At the roundabout, turn right into Thames Valley Park. Thames Valley Park Bus Service
To assist you in reaching Thames Valley Park there is a free service in the morning and evening to pick up and drop off delegates. The service will run at

The bus service will run every 10 minutes, traffic permitting, from and to Reading Bus Station. The bus stop is outside the Thames Tower Building, near the railway station. Bus Stop SY. See map overleaf.
There is a direct train service to Reading from Waterloo, with an approximate journey time of 1 hour 10 minutes, and from Paddington with an approximate journey time of 40 minutes. From Reading Station there is the free bus service as detailed above or you can catch a taxi to Thames Valley Park from just outside the station.
From Heathrow Airport it is an approximate journey time, by road, of 1 hour via M4 Exit 10 on the A329(M) until its termination. There is a Heathrow/Reading Railair link that connects with InterCity trains.
From Gatwick Airport it is an approximate road journey time of 2 hours via the M23/M25 West (Chertsey/Heathrow). Leave the M25 at exit 12 to connect with the M3 southbound then Exit 2/A322 Bracknell, then into A329(M) until its termination. Then follow directions “By Car” At the roundabout,…
If you require a taxi from Thames Valley Park, please ask at the main reception where this can be arranged. All transactions must be settled by the delegate and are not the responsibility of Oracle University.
At Thames Valley Park a lunch will be provided in the Self Service Restaurant on the ground floor and a lunch ticket will be issued for each delegate to use at the Restaurant till, in lieu of payment. Special dietary requirements can be catered for – these MUST be detailed in the ‘Delegate Requirements’ field on your ‘Joining instructions Confirmation’ letter. Hot and cold refreshments are readily available.

Most of the facilities that you may wish to use are found in Reading town centre. All main banks and building societies are represented, as are many of the high street shops and chemists, etc. To assist you, there is a free lunch time bus service, which will depart every 10 minutes from Thames Valley Park and return from the Market Place bus stop near the post office.
