Norms and Regulations
All our connectors are electrically interlocked by the pilot contacts. To the right is a typical circuit for the pilot contacts where the pins are loop connected and the female pilot contacts are connected to the operating coil terminals of the switching device. For safety reasons, the pilots are last to connect and first to disconnect. This insures that no disconnection under load can take place. Mechanical interlocking can be provided on request. All materials are made of marine grade aluminium and bronze. All sockets are delivered with a cover. All connectors are manufactured in accordance with NFC 63300 rules.

Standard inter-protection is IP 557 on all our power units The standard max temperature for Cavotec connectors up 1100V is 80C. The high temperature range for Cavotec connectors is available for max 400C. Our High Voltage Push & Pull connectors are tested according to VDE 0432 List 2.
