As the Pay Pool Manager, Mrs. Druyun has the final authority for

dispersing pay increases and awards based on an employee’s

contribution.  However, there is a formal process that must be

completed before she receives the final recommendations.  The process

goes something like this:

a.  The employee and supervisor sit down at the end of the

appraisal cycle and discuss the employee’s contributions.  The

supervisor then determines the contribution assessment against each of

the 6 contribution factor descriptors (Level 1, 2, 3 or 4 and low,

medium, high, very high).

b.  Each 3-letter meets with his/her division chiefs to discuss each

employee’s contribution.  PEOs meet as a single group.  Changes may

be made at the discretion of the 3-letter/PEO at this time.  Subsequent
