Conditions

Approval is subject to the following conditions which were set by the Panel.  A copy of the response must be lodged with the Executive Officer by the date(s) detailed below:

2.5.1

LCA Mauritius shall provide:

projected student numbers for each intake of each pathway for a three year period commencing January 2010 (Access Certificate) and March/April 2010 (UG degrees);

an associated Resources Action Plan showing timelines for the expansion of office/teaching facilities, library stock, IT laboratories and academic staff (expressed as full time equivalent posts) to support student number growth [see paragraphs 6.1, 6.5 & 6.7]

2.5.2

LCA Mauritius shall formally confirm the identity of the Pathway Leader for each pathway and an appropriate member of staff to act as the Student Adviser for Anglia Ruskin students [see paragraph 6.3];

2.5.3

The Proposal Team (LCA Mauritius and AIBS) shall submit an agreed process for the setting, despatch and secure storage of examination papers to ensure the integrity of the examination process at LCA Mauritius, identifying the post and current post-holder with responsibility for each stage of the process [see paragraph 5.4];

2.5.4

LCA Mauritius shall review, update and contextualise for delivery in Mauritius the content of the Student Handbook. This update shall include a statement about the availability of academic staff to students during specified office hours [see paragraphs 6.2 & 8.1];

2.5.5

The Proposal Team (LCA Mauritius and AIBS) shall provide revised versions of the Pathway Specification Forms (PSFs), clarifying the modules to be delivered at each level and an agreed sequence for module delivery at all levels for the January, April/May and September intakes for the Access Certificate in Accounting and Management and the March/April and September intakes for the two honours degrees [see paragraph 8.2];

2.5.6

The Proposal Team (LCA Mauritius) shall provide electronic final versions of all staff CVs, using the agreed Anglia Ruskin CV format, and tables showing the final allocation of staff to each module for each pathway for inclusion in Anglia Ruskin’s Register of Teaching Staff [see paragraph 6.8].
