St. Ann’s Church
Leading Others to Serve
and global communities. Serving others is a passion they share as they continue to work with Habitat for Humanity. (A non-profit organization that helps to build homes for needy people.)
Bernie & Dave have led five Student Global Village Trips to Sri Lanka and the Philippines and have volunteered again as team leaders for Habitat for Humanity Global Village trip to South Vietnam on August 1 – 15, 2009. Their group of about 14 people from all over the world will be working in the village of Rach Gia on the Gulf of Thailand, near the Mekong Delta. They will help build houses for poor families in that city.
St. Ann’s parishioners, Bernie & Dave Reeves continue to serve as team leaders for Habitat for Humanity. – (Habitat to Philippines 2007)
You may recognize them as one of the 7:00A daily Mass “regulars” or as Lectors or Eucharistic Ministers for the weekend Masses. They are parishioners, Bernie and Dave Reeves. They worked as teachers in Saudi Arabia and retired last year to their home in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
Bernie & Dave are all but retired and waste no time in being active, contributing members in our parish
