An emigrant family from Aero.
Many members of this family emigrated to USA.
Peder Clausen. He was a farmer at Tranderup, Aero, and had his farm since before 1700. We do not know much about him, but his farm in Tranderup had no. 88, and is now known as "Fogedgaarden". (Gaard = farm).
He must have been married twice, as his second wife who was called Anna Rasmusdatter buried 1735, is mentioned as the stepmother of Claus Pedersen.
His successor on the farm is a son:
Claus Pedersen b. ca. 1689 d. 30.11.1771. He took over his father's farm, and was married on 05.07.1716 at Rise Church, Aero to Inger Pedersdatter b. ca. 1695 d. 03.05.1773, daughter of farmer Peder Lassen d. 1731 and wife Karen from Olde, farm no. 142. Peder Lassen's father was farmer Las Christensen who had farm no. 142 at Olde, Aero between 1663 to 1699.
Claus and Inger had 7 children:
1.Peder Clausen d. 1779. Farmer at Tranderup, farm no. 100.
2.Peder Clausen. Small farmer at Olde, Aero.
3.Laurits Clausen b. ca. 1728 d. 1803. Cfr. more below.
4.Christen Clausen b. 05.06.1737.
5.Karen Clausdatter b. 1720. She married a farmer at Tranderup,
farm no. 89.
6.Sidsel Clausdatter d. 16.03.1764. She married a farmer at Olde, farm no. 145.
7.Ane Cathrine Clausdatter d. 03.12.1798. She married a small
farmer at Tranderup.
