emotional, behavioral, or mental disorders. Provides help and hope by identifying and bridging gaps in traditional services through programs, respite care, educational advocacy, parent partners, support groups, and a 24/7 helpline. Provides direct services to foster youth by helping with school enrollment, gathering records, facilitating between agencies and schools, assisting with college preparation, and providing referrals for tutoring and mentoring. Offers training to all prospective foster parents on educational rights and responsibilities. Offers technical assistance to school districts. Provides direct services to homeless families by helping homeless students enroll in school regardless of documents or residence, stay in same school, receive free breakfast and lunch, transportation, participate in extracurricular activities, obtain supplies, refer to tutoring and resources and provide uniforms.
