Registration of all births and deaths that occur in Ventura County are at the Vital Records Office. Certified copies of birth and death certificates are available for purchase for the current year and one year prior only. Certified copies from previous years are available through the Recorder’s Office. United States Passport Services Office is located at Simi Valley City Hall, by appointment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Passport office is open Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday by appointment only 9:00 a.m. - 2:00
