PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Investigates the need to manage the care and finances of Ventura County adult residents who are receiving involuntary psychiatric treatment and are “gravely disabled due to a mental disorder”, i.e., unable to provide for their own food, clothing, or shelter. Investigates the need to manage the care and finances of Ventura County adult residents who lack the mental capacity to manage their own affairs, and who have no suitable family member or other party willing and able to take

on legal responsibility for them. Provides occupational and physical

children

who

have

medically

therapy to eligible,

physically-handicapping conditions.

Offers

medical

intervention,

infant

rehabilitation, development,

early aquatic

therapy, summer camp, testing and referrals for disabled infants, children and adults. Assists anyone with a disability with accessible housing, attendant care, benefits assistance,

living skills,
