PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Administers federal funds that help to support Job and Career Centers (JCCs) and other workforce development programs and services in Ventura County. Provide employment assistance, career training, and education services to job seekers, and employee recruitment, customized training, and employment consulting to local businesses. Free job and career technical and academic training program for qualified youth ages 16 to 24, with residential services.

Offers classes and certifications in many occupational training programs (computer, business, machinist, medical, dental, cosmetology, real estate, welding, and traffic violators), English as a Second Language, citizenship, parenting, high school course work, recreation, and senior activities.
