Free mediation service for disputes involving consumer issues such as landlord tenant disputes, service complaints, warranty issues, merchandise complaints, and other types of consumer concerns. Free information and assistance with small claims court forms, procedures, court preparation, and judgment collection. Serves as liaison with licensed residential facilities that provide residential services to Behavioral Health clients. Responsible for client placement, facility monitoring, facility development, case management services for high-risk clients in out-of-county facilities, and the coordination of the Intensive Services Utilization Committee for review of system- wide, high-risk clients. Provides a 15-bed short-term crisis residential treatment program. The program provides an alternative to hospitalization for seriously mentally ill consumers who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms in a voluntary unlocked setting.
