PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Overnight shelter for chronically homeless women and children providing ten cots on a first come first served basis. Check-in is at

9:30 p.m., check-out is at 6:00 a.m.

An up to two-year transitional housing program for single women and women with children (boys to age ten). One-year rehab or ten day shelter for men, with showers, and alcohol/drug recovery. Also provide three meals a day for men, women and children. Nightly emergency shelter for homeless families (60 to 90 days), also have 15 food pantry sites, mobile hot showers and hot meals at seven sites, and referrals. Shelter by appointment only. Transitional housing program for up to 45 homeless individuals (nine homeless families and nine homeless single women) with supportive services to help residents prepare for economic self-reliance and independent living. Must work 32 hours per week. No cost shelter home program (six beds) for pregnant women (18 years+). Three-bed transitional home program for mothers of infants (required to work or attend school). Also provides referrals to other maternity and shelter homes. Offers shelter, housing, rehabilitation, and support services for adults dealing with mental illness. Our Place Shelter: drop-in center, outreach services and 10-bed overnight shelter for persons who are mentally ill in Ventura.
