PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Provides donated pet food when available to pets belonging to the homeless. Homeless clients may also qualify for Animal Regulation pet services.

Low-cost spay and neuter program.

Provides veterinary services, spay-neuter, and vaccinations for pets of The Samaritan Center’s homeless clients. Provides emergency boarding of pets during disasters. Free donated cat and dog food for licensed pets, Sundays 10:00 a.m. – noon.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION A non-profit organization for education and advocacy efforts on behalf of California Medicare beneficiaries and the pre-retirement population. The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) provides free counseling and community education on Medicare, Medicare Part D, managed care, and other health insurance issues. Senior programs include: Lifeline Program (emergency response system), adult education and recreation classes, health, and social services. Provides congregate meals at the Senior Center with free transportation provided by Dial-A-Ride, Meals On Wheels (provides meals to the homebound), and Senior Share weekly food supplement program for low- income seniors.
