PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Provides benefit information and application assistance for all benefits under the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs to service persons, veterans, their dependents and survivors, including parents who have lost a child in military service. Services are available in Simi Valley the first Wednesday of the month, between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Walk-in services are available in Oxnard, Mondays 8:00 a.m. – noon. Walk-in services are available in Thousand Oaks, Tuesdays 8:00 a.m. – noon.

Walk-in services on the second Tuesday of each month 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Walk-in services daily.

Reservations are taken at the Simi Valley Senior Center for DAV van pick-up for transportation to veteran’s services medical treatment at Sepulveda and in West Los Angeles. Twenty-four hour hotline to ensure homeless and at-risk veterans and their families with immediate access to counselors.

Free counseling service for war veterans and their families in Ventura County. The focus is on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in combat veterans, women veteran issues, and referral, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
