The Church Mouse

Around the Block

We are missing Mary McLatchie our head usher who was always at the door on every Sunday. Mary is home recuperating from foot surgery and should be back with us in several weeks.. We miss you Mary!

Our caring and healing thoughts go out to Mary, Gloria Royer, Phil Klein, and Jerry Trexler as they continue their healing journeys, and the Palumbo family as they await the results of tests.

Our thoughts are with Maria Brown and Mary Gail Perkins upon the death of Maria's father.

Thank UUs:

Food Pantry deliveries are made to St. Lucy's. Women's clothing in good condition is delivered to the Dress for Success program at Elmwood Presbyterian Church on South Avenue. Many activities happen to support the Eastern Farm Workers Association: This month we focus on donations needed for low income students in Central New York. The donation bin is the closest to the stairs leading to the office. They need all standard school supplies, (pencils, paper) and backpacks, etc. Also school clothing your own child would be proud to wear to the new school year along with shoes, sox, etc. School districts are even asking for hygiene and paper products this year!
