BUS #2: Justin-Siena (15), Lynden (15), Yale Secondary (14). If you want to go to the game, see Erik at the lobby booth for tickets. Meet in the bus loading area tonight by 7:20pm for a 7:30pm departure to go to tonight’s 8:00pm Texas vs. Cincinnati game at USD. Bus returns to the hotel about 10 minutes after end of game. Hofstra and Univ. of San Diego play in the first game at 6pm (sorry, no transport available to the first game, but your tickets are good for the game if you are driving on your own). Today at the San Diego State site, San Diego State plays Texas-San Antonio at 5:00pm, followed by Texas A&M vs. Drexel at 7:00pm. You can use your trolley passes to get to San Diego State; pick up tickets from us at the lobby booth. The college Division I women’s tournaments resume play on Dec. 30. Division II and III college women’s teams are also competing in their own Surf ‘N Slam tournaments at Point Loma Nazarene.

HEAD COACHES: Good luck in your games today. If you or your team plan to go early or stay late at a game site, please notify Kevin, our bus dispatcher, or your site staff person so we can organize busses accordingly. Also, please have your team clean up and vacate the bench immediately after the game for the next game. Finally, the busses need to stay on schedule so please keep your post-game meetings to a minimum.

VIDEO VIEWING ROOM is available for watching your game tapes or for team meetings. Sign up at the tourney lobby booth. Balboa is in the back ballroom area to the right of the main ballroom.

CURFEW: Just a reminder that there is an “in your room and quiet” curfew of 11:30pm each night.

TROLLEY: Have you tried the trolley yet? Don’t forget to take your trolley pass with you! The trolley leaves every 15 minutes for all the malls, Old Town, Horton Plaza, great restaurants, Costco, the grocery store, MORE! The WESTBOUND trolley departs at :13, :28, :43, and :58 (until 9:00pm) from the Rio Vista stop just in back of the hotel. After 9:00pm the trolley departs 3 times/hour. Pick up restaurant and sightseeing option sheets at the lobby tournament booth.

TOURNAMENT SOUVENIR T-SHIRTS FOR SALE: Check out the lobby booth for souvenir t-shirts commemorating the Surf ‘N Slam. You can also purchase trolley passes, discounted zoo tickets and banquet tickets.

ROOM KEY WON’T WORK?? Don’t put your cell phone next to your room key . . . it de-magnetizes the key so that it won’t work to unlock your door!

KARAOKE: Congrats to those of you who sang at Karaoke last night! We doubt if American Idol will come looking for many of you, but here’s a shout out to everyone who got up and sang!

KUDOS FROM THE MARRIOTT SECURITY STAFF . . . they said you had a great night the first night. Keep up the good work. The Marriott is serious about YOUR SAFETY: please remember if you are caught throwing things off the balcony, doing graffiti, drugs, alcohol or marijuana, YOU WILL BE EVICTED and the police will be contacted. So have fun responsibly, keep making great choices, and keep everyone happy!
