As in the preceding two chapters we will use the File/Customize command whenever possible to connect up our tab stops, expression pedals, etc., in the quickest and easiest way. As we will see, there are some connection tasks that the File/Customize command window cannot handle at all and there are other situations where use of the File/Customize is inadvisable, but for now we will tackle the connections that File/Customize can handle eciently and expeditiously. So, start o connecting your MIDI equipment’s tab stops, expression pedals, etc., by going to the File menu and clicking on Customize. You will see the now-familiar opening window, Fig. 6.2, entitled “Customize Disposition.”
Fig . 6 .2 - Customize Disposition Window, Opened in Customize Keyboards Mode
e “Customize Disposition” window, as you can see in the second line, opens in Customize Keyboards mode.
We took care of this mode in the previous chapters, so we move on past “Customize Keyboards” by clicking on the “Next” button at the bottom of the window.
