NOTE : For the GUEST section of the competition;
In the evening after the Thursday evening Skit Competition, the Friday night FCF Council Fire, and the Saturday evening Pageantry, conduct a bible focused game, or have a devotion or a Bible Study around your camp fire. Be sure that you have invited a District Staff Member to attend your outpost camp fire and remember to have a comfortable seat for your guest. This should not run real late. 20 - 30 minutes
BEST OF CAMP INSTRUCTIONS
SATURDAY MORNING ASSEMBLY: Look Sharp!!
All outposts will participate in pass and review.
Outposts will be judged on neatness of uniforms, outpost pennant, patrol standards, flags, and overall marching ability. Your outpost must be clearly identified.
Come to the formation singing your outpost cadence song with your banner in clear view.
Stop singing when you pass the Judges, “eyes right” - outpost senior guide keeps the cadence by speaking softly Left…Left…Left…
“Best of Camp” Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall winners.
Blue Ribbon / “Excellence in Camping” camps will be considered for “Best of Camp” trophies.
The required scoring range for the Blue Ribbon is 150+ Pts. “Excellence in Camping”
The required scoring range for the Red Ribbon is 95+ Pts “Quality in Camping”
Outposts that do not qualify for a blue or red ribbon will receive a white participation ribbon.
Judging will take place through-out the day on Saturday.
Final judging of the camps will be done on Saturday afternoon between 3 and 5 PM.
When the judges enter your camp site for final judging you must all vacate the camp site.
Any changes in these rules will be announced and posted at the Registration Center or on the Information board.
