Mr. Sunu Mohan is a Senior Associate in Exponent’s Construction Consulting practice. He has more than 9 years of comprehensive experience in engineering and construction, including project controls and dispute resolution. Mr. Mohan has been involved in projects in a variety of industries including building construction, transportation, ship building, drilling rig refurbishments, and process plants.

Mr. Mohan is experienced in the preparation, analysis, and evaluation of construction claims related to scope changes, schedule delays, and production disruption/inefficiency. His litigation support experience includes discovery assistance involving document production, interrogatory preparation and responses, deposition preparation and development, and assistance during settlement. He has also been involved in the analysis of technical issues on multiple shipbuilding claims.

Mr. Mohan has extensive experience in project controls and integration on numerous construction projects. He has been involved in numerous offshore drilling rig refurbishments, both in the U.S. and abroad. His experience also includes training personnel in the application of project control procedures and in project management software (Primavera P3, P5 and P6).

Prior to being involved in construction consulting, Mr. Mohan worked as a Naval Architect with a major Gulf Coast shipyard, where his responsibilities included project coordination, initial and production engineering, and field engineering. He is also knowledgeable about marine design and construction regulations, both by classification societies and USCG.
