I t is our pleasure to introduce Isaiah Tiezzi to the members of EAA Chapter 27. Isaiah is a two time Young Eagle, whom we will be sponsor- ing to attend this year’s EAA Air Academy at Oshkosh in June. Isaiah and his mother Laura recently met with Jim Simmons, Bob Spaulding and Fran Uliano and were informed of our Chapter’s offer to assist Isaiah in his pursuit of more aviation knowledge and experience. Isaiah is 13 years old and he has flown Young Eagles flights with Rick Beebe in 2007 and Tony Valillo in 2008. He explained that these flights piqued his interest in aviation and possibly becoming a pilot. During our Young Eagles Rally Isaiah also met with Laura Hargreaves (last year’s Academy attendee) which spurred his interest in attending the Air Academy.
Isaiah and his mother plan to attend this month’s Chapter meeting at the New England Air Museum. Please join us in making them welcome to our aviation family.
