Most of you are aware that my Steen Skybolt has been for sale for some time. As a result of the times and the declining market, I have significantly reduced my asking price to $69,000. The Skybolt is one of the best sport aerobatic biplanes available and I believe this new price is a bargain for anyone interested in a fine two place aerobatic aircraft. It would cost in excess of $90,000 to purchase comparable components today (and then you have to build it!).
Slow build kits for sale. Will sell at original cost. Empennage complete with electric trim ($1643). Wings 95% assembled with landing and taxi lights installed ($6791). Fuselage, tail cone riveted, center section completed ready to attach to tail cone, fire- wall assembled ($6571). Started assembly in 2001. Frequently inspected by EAA Tech Counselor. Excellent workmanship. Wings and empennage assembled at Bob Burk’s.
I could use your assistance in spreading the word to any potential buyers that my Skybolt is available. Thanks, Jim Simmons (203) 272-9346
Will sell all or by kit. Does not include shipping. Save over $10,000! Call Mike Okrent at (203) 530-3801
