Body in Motion

a camp for ages 6–10

This specialty camp is a one week full-day program.

Would you like to learn some new moves? During this one- week session, children experience movement through activities such as: dance, yoga, and capoeira, a Brazilian art form of dance and martial arts. Each day campers will move to kid-friendly music as they learn modern dance routines and the fundamentals capoeira. They will also practice traditional yoga positions and relaxation techniques that promote positive and healthy ways to unwind. Through these art forms with professional instructors, students will develop their flexibility, balance, rhythm, and strength. Body in Motion includes swimming twice during the week at a local pool. There is no better way to get moving!

Martial Arts Specialty Camp

a camp for ages 6–11

This specialty camp is a one week half-day program. Students will participate in various activities in the afternoons, which includes swimming twice during the week at a local pool.

Join our instructor, Tom Mills, a 4th degree black belt. He has twenty years of experience and has worked with a variety of age groups.

During the one-week session Mr. Mills will teach basic and advanced blocks and kicking techniques. The campers will also learn balance, methods of concentration, coordination and flexibility exercises.

All of the equipment is provided and included in the cost of the camp.

Campers of all ability are welcome to join.
