Report of SVRS Project Director

For June 23, 2006 Board Meeting

Page 2

The municipal clerks, where voter registration was previously required, had the responsibility to provide their data to be converted into SVRS.  For various reasons, some of this data was not provided at the time of the last upload.  In the case of Superior and Hudson, the source data did not have the correct ward information and needed to be corrected in the source data before it could be properly loaded into SVRS.  They did not use SVRS for the spring primary and election.  This is an example where non-complying voter data used by a municipality is acceptable when their data was isolated within their municipality, but is not compatible with a statewide system.

The SVRS staff needs six additional training environments to allow for six additional SVRS training sessions to be held simultaneously.  This is required in order for SVRS to meet its deployment schedule.  This change order covers the period May 1, 2006, to August 31, 2006.
