Now, select the Phi window of the Manual Goniometer window and check Init. This allows the system to find the Phi location. After the Phi Initialization takes place. Re-select the Omega window. (With the Beam Stop and Collimator removed), Toggle Move and enter a value of ZERO (0).

Place your pre-mounted sample onto the Stage, if you have not already done so, while at the 0 degrees ω.  Finger tighten the Set Screw on the stage to secure your sample.

Set the Omega range to 90 degrees and hit OK.  This drives the goniometer stage to 90 degrees. The Phi axis will now directly face the X-ray source and Collimator.

Check whether the RAXVIDEO Window is open.  If not, press the CCD camera icon on the second tier Menu bar.

Reduce the Magnification of the camera while Observing the RAXVIDEO Window on the computer monitor (it helps to move the RAXVIDEO window to one side of the screen and the RINT RAPID window to the opposite side).   The Stage will become visible on the computer screen when the Magnification is suitably low.
