Small Business Development continues to reach out to the public

Twenty-two small businesses were represented at the May Face-To-Face Forum held at Paul Brown Stadium. Buyers from several county de- partments and agencies partici- pated. The City of Cincinnati and Cin- cinnati Public Schools (CPS) also supported the event.

Small Business De- velopment, the city and CPS form the Public Entities Small Business Collaborative and in June, the collaborate hosted its second informational workshop. The workshop provided details about the collabora- tive entities and each makes purchases.

Approximately 70 business representatives attended the half- day event at the convention center. New to the workshop this year was the addition of sessions on building mutually benefi- cial business relationships. Panelists were from Craftsman Electric, Inc., MBJ Consultants, Inc., Messer Construction Com- pany, and Vivian Llambi & Associates, Inc.
