Setting Up Directory Services
Use the information in this chapter to set up directory services for Cisco Mobile. You can set up these features with or without Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
Directory services in Cisco Mobile include directory search and Caller ID.
To set up directory services, you must specify the settings that the client will use to connect to your corporate directory server (such as Microsoft Active Directory).

Before you set up directory services, you must do the following: Gather some general information about your corporate directory server.
Determine whether any attributes in your corporate directory schema are different than the Cisco Mobile default attributes.
Ensure the telephoneNumber attribute (or its equivalent, if you are using a different attribute) in Active Directory is indexed.
