Preparing Cisco WebEx Connect

If you have not already done so, follow instructions for enabling presence and instant messaging in the Administration tool for your Cisco WebEx Connect release. See http://www.webex.com/webexconnect/orgadmin/help/index.htm.

Setting Up Presence and Instant Messaging with Cisco Unified Communications Manager

For deployments with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, enter the presence and instant messaging settings into the Phone Configuration screen for each user. The system automatically passes these settings to the client.

Before You Begin

Set up the user for calling features and verify that the configuration works. See Setting Up Dial via Office Features, page 2-1.

Set up your Presence and Instant Messaging application to provide service for this user, and then verify on another device that your configuration is working.

Sign in to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration portal. Navigate to the Nokia S60 Phone Configuration screen for the user. Enter values:
