What To Do Next

On the test phone, verify that you can view availability and use instant messaging in Cisco Mobile. If you are signed in to chat, Cisco Mobile displays your availability information on the left side of the status bar and the availability of your contacts on the Contacts tab. To start a chat, select a contact and then select Options > Chat.

Record the information for your specific chat settings. You will need these settings later when you prepare instructions for users in Instructing Users About How to Set Up Cisco Mobile for Nokia on the Phone, page 7-1.
