American Legion Riders (ALR)

FROM THE COMMANDER Fellow Legionnaires:

Courage..spring is coming!! I hope everyone had a good Easter. Everything here is much the same as last month. Our activities continue. We are presently in the process of handing out flyers in the local neighborhoods promoting our various activities. If these flyers produce the desired result we are going to be woefully short on volunteers.

HELP!

Poppy drive will be coming up on May 17th and the Auxiliary has already recruited the Kroger at 116th and Allisonville to participate this year. Sounds great.

The Memorial Day ceremony is already arranged (thanks Mike) and we hope to see many of you there.

With Post elections looming on the horizon, we would encourage anyone desiring to serve to inform their respective election committees. New blood brings new ideas.

Have a wonderful April and come see us at the Post. Jim Szalay, Post Commander, Lowell Beaver Post 470
