The lower grille is held in place only with tabs. It is very easy to free these tabs using only a slotted screw driver. Around the perimeter of the lower grille, you will find ribbed sections in the honey comb pattern. Place the screw driver in these sections and press in firmly. After you feel a pop move to the next section and again press in. Repeat this procedure around the entire grille and it will release.

    INSTALL MAIN GRILLES

      • 2.1.1)

Install the lower grille (NON-FOG LIGHT) first, as

you will need to be able to reach through the upper grille opening. You will need to drill 6 holes on the lower opening. Using a 1/8” drill bit, drill 2 holes on the bottom and top lips about 8 inches in from each side, and 1 hole in the middle of each side, as shown in Fig 2. Place these holes about ¼” in from the edge. These holes will be concealed by the stock grille if you ever decide to re-install it.

2.1.2) Install the lower grille (FOG-LIGHT), drill 8 1/8” holes in the locations indicated in Figure 1-2. These holes are about 1/4” from the inside lip of the grille. Place the Figure fog light grille in the opening, and secure with nylon- ties. Clip the tails when secure. With the Figure grille in place, snap the frame back into the car’s bumper cover and then plug the fog lights back in.
