ABBREVIATED DIALING PROGRAMMING

SPEED DIAL You may program SPEED DIAL buttons or SPEED DIAL bin codes to enable you to dial outside numbers quickly.

NOTE Pauses may be entered, where needed, in a speed dial sequence by pressing the pause icon j.

To program a speed dial bin code or button

  • 1.

    Press T.

  • 2.

    Do one of the following: Press {SPEED DIAL} and dial a speed dial bin code (three digits, e.g. 003). See your System Administrator for a list of code numbers. or

Press the SPEED DIAL button to be programmed. The number previously entered is displayed. 3. Dial an outside line access code followed by the num- ber you want to store. 4. Press o.

MEMORY BUTTONS Memory buttons are used for one-press dialing of exten- sions and feature access codes6.

To program a MEMORY button

  • 1.

    Press T.

  • 2.

    Press the MEMORY button to be programmed. The number previously programmed is displayed.

  • 3.

    Dial the desired extension number or feature access code (up to four digits, not including the FEATURE code).

See the Feature codes table at the end of this guide. 4. Press o.
