The TN ICPC State Office records will be disposed of in accordance to the TN DCS RDA. The TN ICPC office record is not considered the permanent record on the child. The documents maintained in the TN ICPC Office record are copies and not originals. The TN ICPC office e-records will be disposed of in accordance to Departmental rules regarding maintenance of and access to electronic records in the current child-welfare information system. .
As noted previously, the closure of an ICPC instance through permanency impacts the child; closure of the child’s ICPC instance does not automatically close the Resource Home. The TN DCS Regional PSD/RPS staff will determine whether the approved TN DCS Resource Home remains active or is closed.
