Historic Woods Mill and Visitor Center 9410 Old Lincoln Highway, Hobart, IN 46342. Travel U.S. 30 to Rt. 51, then north on Rt. 51 to first stop sign (Old Lincoln Highway). Turn right (east) onto Old Lincoln Highway then 2 1/2 miles to the park. Located at Intersection of Old Lincoln Highway and (Lake and Porter) County Line Road. Park open 7 a.m.-sunset year round. Buildings open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., May 1-October 31.

DEEP RIVER WATERPARK (WP)

9001 East U.S. Hwy. 30. Only 4 1/2 miles east of I-65 on Route 30 in Merrillville Indiana. Full service waterpark.

CEDAR CREEK FAMILY GOLF CENTER

10483 W. 109th Avenue, Cedar Lake, IN 46303. Located on Route 231, 1/4 mile east of Route 41. Park opens at 8 a.m. and has various season closing times.

LEMON LAKE COUNTY PARK

6322 W. 133rd Avenue, Crown Point, Indiana 46307. Located on 133rd Ave. approximately 1/2 mile east of Cedar Lake. Travel Indiana 55 south to 133rd Avenue, then west for about 3 miles to park entrance. Park open 7 a.m.-sunset. Leash free dog run.

142nd and Union Street, Leroy, IN 46355. Exit Interstate 65 east at Rt. 231 Hebron, travel east 4 2 miles and follow signs to the park. Park open 7 a.m.- sunset year round. Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
