37% had a Bayley II Mental MDI <70;

29% had a Psychomotor PDI <70,

9% had vision & 11% had hearing impairment

Increased morbidity: decreasing birth weight; lung disease; IVH 3-4 (brain hemorrhage), necrotizing enterocolitis

Decreased morbidity: female gender, higher maternal education, and white race.
