census for 1870. He is 26, a conductor on the railroad, and she is 25, keeping house. Their son, Asa Brumfield Poinsett - 858 (1871 - 1892), is buried in the Wilmington and
Brandywine Cemetery in grandfather Asa's plot.
To my knowledge, there are no Poinsetts living in DE at present
This family, which
flourished and prospered in cities along the Delaware River, has no descendants there now, as far as I know.
