First Authorization:  Children's Health Act of 2000

Designation

Protection and advocacy system established pursuant to part C of title I of the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act (42 U.S.C. §15001).

Purpose

Enable P&A systems to serve people with Traumatic Brain Injury.

Eligibility

People with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), as defined in the HRSA regulations.
