Consult the instructions supplied by the door manufacturer when attaching the garage door electric operator to the door.

Installation

Work on the electrical installation may only be carried out by an electri- cian registered with your local power supply utility.

The garage door electric operator may only be installed in dry premises.

Leave a gap of at least 5 – 15 mm bet- ween the highest point of the open door and the drive guiding rail.

The door must be activated by horizon- tally operating tractive or compressive forces. The required tractive/compres- sive force must not exceed 150 N (15 kp).

The connecting points on the ceiling, wall or lintel and door must ensure the safe connection of the garage door electric operator. Use additional structural meas- ures if required (couplings, supports, cross-beams, reinforcements).

Install a 230 V 50 Hz earthing-contact socket outlet within approximately 10 - 50 cm of the rear attachment point of the drive head. See technical data for fuse protection.

The mechanical components of the door should comply with the following stand- ards: EN 12 604 and EN 12 605.

Compliance with standards EN 12 453, EN 12 445 and prEN 12 635 is required when connecting the door drive to the door. The installation of additional pro- tective devices (light barrier, safety con- tact strip) must comply with standard prEN 12 978.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for technical defects in the drive door or for any structural defects occurring during use or following the improper mainte- nance of the door.
