Adjusting the lighting time The lighting time is the length of time during which the drive light is illuminat- ed after the motor has been running. Lighting time can easily be adjusted using switch 6 (from 2 seconds to max. 8.5 minutes). Lighting time is set to 2 minutes in the factory and switch 6 is set to the ”Off” position.

[55] Set lighting time via switch 6: Start up the motor and make the door travel to the final position (Open/Closed). Once the desired lighting time is reached, set switch 6 to the “On” position; the programmed time is memorised.

In order to modify a programmed lighting time, initially set switch 6 to the ”Off” position and then to position ”On” as described above. This is also re- quired after resetting.

Programming the soft run-out The soft run-out is a control function via which the door is returned to the closed position at reduced speed. The dura- tion of the soft run-out can be adjusted via switches 7 and 8. The soft run-out is set to 3 seconds in the factory with both switches in the ”Off” position.

Additional safety connections

[57] On delivery, bridged Western plugs (4 = green, 3 = yellow) are inserted into the “Emergency Stop” (4) and “Safety strip/Light barrier” (3) exter- nal connections .

[58] Unbolt, pull off and keep Western plug with yellow bridge. Install the safety device and con- nect by means of a Western plug.

“Emergency-Stop” connection (4) An Emergency-Stop device (slip door safety device or Emergency-Stop Touch Contact) can be connected at this inlet:

[60] Unbolt, pull off and keep Western plug with green bridge. Install the Emergency-Stop device and connect by means of Western plug. Test the function. If the Not- Stop device is activated whilst the door is in operation, the motor must cut out immediately.

Additional lighting

Additional lighting may be con- nected only by a qualified electrician.

Additional lighting of 60 W max. (no lu- minescent tubes) can be connected in addition to the drive lighting (40 W).

[61] Connect additional lighting to clamps 1 and 2 (light) parallel to the drive light.
