Self Test

A self test of the control system is car- ried out:

  • -

    after switching on (switch-on test)

  • -

each time the motor has been running

  • -

    every 4 hours during shut-down.

Any defects observed during the self test are identified by means of a flash- ing red LED or drive lamp (see following table). Control is blocked (no com- mands accepted) only when 2 automat- ic tests have detected the same error in succession.

In the case of locking, the entire self test is repeated after approximately 5 min- utes. If no defects are then detected, the locking procedure is automatically lifted.

Drive monitoring – defect indicated

by the red radio LED

Test Test/ alarm trigger

Indicator in the event of a defect

Effect in the event of a defect

End of defect report

Relais-/ Thyristor test

Self test

Flashes once Pause Flashes once

Possibility of defect is indicated. Full control function is maintained.

When the next impulse is triggered.

Exceeds running time

Each time the motor operates

Flashes twice Pause Flashes twice

Drive stops when max. running time is exceeded.

When the next impulse is triggered.

Break-in attempt

Pulling the door from "CLOSED" final position with learning runs

Flashes three times Pause Flashes three times

Counter-control of drive in "CLOSED" position.

After 1 min. or when the next impulse is triggered.

Current measurement 1

Each time the motor operates

Flashes four times Pause Flashes four times

The drive stops when no minimum current is measured in the 1st second of motor operation

When the next impulse is given.

Current measurement 2

Self test

Flashes four times Pause Flashes four times

Control locked (relay out, no commands accepted)

With the next self-test or control re-set.

Safety inlet (light barrier)

Self test

Flashes five times Pause Flashes five times

Control locked (control out, no commands accepted)

With the next self-test or control re-set.

ROM/RAM according to VDE 0801

Self test

Flashes six times Pause Flashes six times

Control locked (Control out, relay without acceptance of commands)

With the next self-test or control re-set.

EEPROM clearly legible

Self test

Flashes seven times Pause Flashes seven times

Control locked (control out, no acceptance of commands)

With the next self-test or control re-set.

Test

Test/ alarm trigger

Indicator in the event of a defect

Effect in the event of a defect

End of defect report

Basic adjustment

Reset

Flashing (1 Hz)

Carry out learning run.

After standard implementation of learning runs

Obstruction in automatic run

Power shut-down in automatic mode

Flashing (0,5 Hz)

Automatic closure is no longer effective.

When the next impulse is triggered

Power shut-down

If the current is stopped whilst the motor is running

Flashing (0,5 Hz)

All control functions intact.

When the next impulse is triggered

In the event of a shut- down due to an obstruction

Flashing (0,5 Hz)

All control functions intact.

When the next impulse is triggered

Break-in attempt

Pulling the door from the "CLOSED" end po-sition with learning runs.

Flashes 3 times Pause Flashes 3 times

Counter-control of drive in "CLOSED" position.

After 1 minute or when the next impulse is triggered
