NOTE: this vehicle does not have a (-) Ground Wire attached to either connector. The radio grounds when the metal brackets attached to the radio screw into the metal dash or the ground wire from the new radio is screwed into metal of the vehicles dash.

If your original radio had a metal female connector attached to a single wire plugged into the rear of the radio.

TIP:

Crimp a male tab spade to the new radios ground wire. Slide it into the female tab spade connector that had originally snapped into the rear of the factory radio.

Note: using an optional snap on wire harness adapter will simplify the wiring. Most snap on wire harness adapters have already converted and color coded the wires from the auto makers in dash wire harness to match typical aftermarket radio wire colors.

** The wire colors listed in the chart above are typical for these vehicles during these years but may not be the exact colors for this vehicle. This is another reason to use a snap on wire harness adapter. **
