Collection Drive to Help the MSPCA and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital
When: 1st Thirsday of the Month - May & June 2006 What to do?: Bring any old linens for Animal Shelter donations
Spring will be here before we know it and if you are as tied of winter as I am then why not give spring a kick- start. Start dreaming about the sun and warmer weather and get started on that spring cleaning (they you don’t have to do it when the weather really is nice). It’s time for the 6th annual collection drive to help collect old blankets, sheets and towels to donate to the MSPCA and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. These non-profit organizations are always in desperate need of these items. Both the humans and the animals would greatly appreciate if we could help them out! Start that spring cleaning and clear out those closets. What a good excuse to go buy new stuff!
Needed items include linens such as:
This can be old stuff, quality is not necessary!
All you need to do is bring these items to the monthly club meeting in May or June. I will plan on collecting all of the donations at the North of Boston meeting (but if you attend another meeting location you can see the meeting leader who will so kindly help me out and collect linens from you). If you attend the North of Boston meeting, just flag me down and I’ll collect the linens you have so generously collected. If you can’t make it to any of the club meetings but would still like to donate some items for this great cause please drop me a line and I can arrange to collect them from you at another time. Also, if you have any questions or would like to contact me for any reason I can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or at home 603-474-FIN2.
Thanks in advance for your generous support. Dawn Miles
